Continuum Movement

“Pulsating streams of life ripple through our system as we enter The Mystery of what it means to awaken and live as Embodied Presence.”
– Sarah Grace

Continuum Movement®, founded by Emilie Conrad,  is an exploration of the fluid Intelligence of our bodies. We use sound and subtle movement to activate fluids within the body, be it lymph, blood, fascia, nerves, organs, muscles, bones, and cells. The choreography of fluid reveals itself as wave motion, undulations, pulsations, curves, and spirals. Through deep listening, breath, and the language of sensation, we arrive into communion with the Bio-Cosmic forces nourishing, healing, and supporting us.

Continuum Movement® activates the Web of Intelligence flowing naturally through our bodies. Adaptive patterns from unresolved trauma and the general stress of life can create constrictions and limitations affecting how this innate wisdom flows; often resulting in physical pain, anxiety or other forms of dis-ease. As layers of habits and patterns soften, a greater flow of intelligence guides the body back to its natural state of well-being and vitality.

When we drop beneath the surface noise, stress and speed of daily life, we rest deeply inside ourselves, dwelling, gestating, receiving true inspiration as we enter the inquiry and possibilities for what it truly means to be human.

An Invitation to Continuum

“It was the vision of a universal human that beckoned me. I had no map to follow except my strong urge to experience our essential bio-lineage and my certainty that our existences were fed far beyond our cultural moorings. It is my belief that we carry in our cells, in our tissues, in the very throb of our existence an underlying flow that urges, inspires, flares our nostrils and beats our heart. This encompassing atmosphere of love has its own destiny – perhaps using humans as its messengers, this love has arrived on Earth.”

A Continuum Exploration: Diving into Our Primordial Being and Body

We refer to a Continuum exploration as a “dive” because we are literally diving into the waters of our body to nourish, restore and explore the fluid matrix within. A dive last anywhere from an hour to 3 hours, and into days for deeper explorations. Each time we enter into The Depth of our body’s waters, we rest inside the deeper layers of our Being informed by the richness and vastness of the Mystery. At times, we enter into darkness where our body, breath, and sound become a ritual for transformation.

“Continuum Movement guides you in slowing down and tuning into your body and inner world, so your mind quiets and your body awakens.”
